Offer Decision Process Improvement

The Offer Decision improvements have gone live today – 21st February 2019.

The Offer Decision project has delivered important enhancements to the decision phases of an offer of admission: accept, decline and defer. The outcome is an interface that is as seamless and user-friendly as possible, making it simple for applicants to understand and navigate. Manual processing of offer decisions is significantly reduced, removing delays and allowing more time for the Admissions and Credit team (Division of Student Administration), and the Conversion team (Division of Marketing and Communication) to provide support to applicants.

What are the improvements?

  • Improved applicant experience at the point of their offer decision – including the ability to advise a decision on mobile devices.
  • Offer decisions automatically captured in the related CSU systems – reducing manual data entry previously completed by the Admissions and Credit team.
  • Integration of offer decision and follow up process between the Admissions and Credit team and Conversion team – enabling staff to manage and support future students more effectively.

These outcomes work in support of the re-engagement, connection and retention of each applicant.

The project team thanks all those involved for their support.
